Ennoblements on the Pedigree: The American Boer Goat Association - ABGA- uses the Ennoblement program to identifying Outstanding Sires and Dams. To become ennobled, a Boer must pass two visual inspections by a ABGA inspector. The Boer and its offspring accumulate show points by placing well at the ABGA Shows. An ennobled Boer has show quality and meets the breed standard. A Boer with ennoblements on its pedigree reveals a breeder that has used outstanding genetics in his breeding program.
